Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department on Wednesday made key appointments at the medical college and hospitals.
According to a notification issued by the Department, Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Misra, Superintendent, PGIMER and Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar has been appointed as Director, PGIMER and Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Biswajeet Sahu, Professor & HoD, Orthopaedics, PGIMER and Capital Hospital’ Bhubaneswar has been posted as superintendent, PGIMER and Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
The appointment of Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Misra as Superintendent, PGIMER and Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar shall stand terminated from the date Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Sahu takes over.
Prof. (Dr.) Sabita Mohapatra, Dean & Principal, BB MC, Balangir has been transferred to SJ MC Puri and appointed as Dean & Principal, SJ MC Puri.
Dr. Swayam Prava Pradhan, Professor & HoD, Pathology, MKCG MCH, Berhampur has been transferred to BB MC, Balangir and appointed as Dean & Principal, BB MC, Balangir.
The appointment of Prof. (Dr.) Sabita Mohapatra as Dean & Principal, BB MC Balangir shall stand terminated from the date Prof. (Dr.) Swayam Prava Pradhan takes over.

(Dr.) Rabindra Kumar Mishra, Professor, Transfusion Medicine, MKCG MCH’ Berhampur (relieved and on leave) is transferred and appointed as Superintendent, PRM MCH, Baripada.
