Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department has urged the officials to open social media handle ‘X’ at all DHHs, SDHs, CHCs and PHCs in the designation of the Medical Officer in Charge of the facility.
Shalini Pandit, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Health Department, wrote to Director, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Director, RGH Rourkela and All CDM & PHOs in this regard.
“As per the instruction of the Minister, Health & Family Welfare, Odisha during review of this Department on 18.06.2024, you are directed to open official social media handle ‘X’ at all DHHs, SDHs, CHCs and PHCs in the designation of the Medical Officer in Charge of the facility”, the Health Secretary mentioned in the letter.
Further on opening of this social handle ‘X’, all concerned should be responsive to the needs of the people as expressed through social media. Compliance regarding opening of such social media account should be submitted within 3 working days to DHS, Odisha, Pandit said.
