Odisha: Joint Hearing of Public Grievances by Collectors and SPs Adjourned till End of Election Process 

Bhubaneswar: The joint hearing of Monday public grievances by Collectors and SPs in Odisha have been adjourned till the end of election process in view of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena wrote a letter to all Collectors and Superintendents of Police in this regard on Saturday.

“With the declaration of schedule for the General Elections to Lok Sabha and Odisha Vidhan Sabha by the Election Commission of India on 16.03.2024,the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) have come into force with immediate effect and will be in force till the completion of General Elections and simultaneous Assembly Elections, 2024. It is, therefore, directed that the Joint hearing of Monday Pubic Grievances by the Collector & DMs along with the SPs of the districts have been adjourned till the end of election process”, the letter reads.
