Bhubaneswar: The annual matriculation exams, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha, will begin from tomorrow and will conclude on March 4.
As many as 5, 51,611 students are expected to appear in the examination in 3,047 examination centres across the state.
The Board of Secondary Education has made several arrangements to conduct the matriculation examination in a disciplined manner. The Board has made special arrangements to prevent malpractice. The help of Artificial Intelligence-AI has been taken to prevent malpractice.
About 21 police stations in the state, especially in Maoist-infested areas, have been made nodal centres for the examination.
Invigilators will be present at all the exam centres for the first time. BEO and the headmasters will officiate. Nobody is allowed to take mobile phones with them to the exam hall except the centre Superintendent, the BSE said.
