Bhubaneswar: A total of 70.78% students have cleared the annual HSC examination, results of which were announced by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Tuesday.
As many as 5,87,720 students had appeared for the exam this year. Of them 3,97,125 have qualified the exam this year, BSE said.
289 schools registered cent percent results whereas 82 schools across the state have scored nil results.
The pass rate for regular students is 71.35 % and 37.43% for ex-regular students.
Once again girls have outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 51.73 % as against 48.26 % of boys.
Koraput recorded the lowest pass percentage of 50.61%. Jharsuguda recorded the highest 85.48%.

grade was awarded to 1181 students, A2-9938, B1-24991, B2-45319,
C-76139, D-116262, E-122062, F-163954 in the Class 10 Matric
examination.
The results can also be viewed on official websites-.bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.in.
Students can log on to these official websites to know their results. They can also type OR10 (space) Roll Number and send SMS to 5676750 for the same.
School and Mass Education Department secretary Pradipta Mohapatra informed that students can apply for rechecking online within 10 days from May 24.
