Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mo-Parivar, the social service wing of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD), has collected 11,531 units of blood in October through its Jiban Bindu programme.
In response to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s clarion call for social service, Odisha Mo-Parivar is organizing mega blood donation camps in different parts of the State to meet the shortage of blood amid the COVID-19 pandemic in Odisha.
“The Jiban Bindu programme has collected a total of 11,531 units of blood in the month of October. All the donors are felicitated and encouraged for their support in this hour of need. We request everyone to join this noble cause”, Odisha Mo-Parivar informed through its official twitter handle.
Odisha Mo-Parivar members have been at the forefront during this pandemic period, helping the needy with financial support, food, shelter and blood donation.
