Bhubaneswar: Odisha-Mo Parivar, apolitical social service wing, has come forward to extend helping hands to the candidates appearing for the JEE (Mains) Exams scheduled to be held from September 1 to 6 at 26 centres across the State.
In view of the dual challenges of grim flood situation and corona pandemic scenario, the Odisha Government has taken the timely and welcome step of directing the administration to extend all possible help by way of guidance and logistical assistance to enable the candidate to have a hassle-free attendance at the venue.
Odisha-Mo Parivar, the brainchild of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has also decided to intervene in a positive manner by tying up with all stakeholders – students, state administration and their nodal officers by engaging its volunteers and members and assisting and navigating the candidates in a seamless manner, stated Arup Patnaik, Convener Odisha-Mo Parivar.
The volunteers of Mo Parivar will assist the candidates and their relatives in reaching the exam venues as well as other logistic issues.
As such, in all 30 districts, Odisha-Mo Parivar representatives are actively in close touch with the district administration and are trying to resolve all logistical issues etc. of the JEE candidates travelling to their specified examination centres, he said.
Moreover, near the examination centres, Odisha-Mo Parivar has set up “HELP DESKS” where its volunteers will be stationed for all the six days from morning 07.00am till 06:30pm evening to assist the candidates. Sanitizers, water bottles, biscuit packets are being made available to the candidates, as well as their relatives near the examination centres, Odisha-Mo Parivar Convener added.
