Odisha-Mo Parivar Extends Helping Hands to Bring Back Body of Deceased Gopalpur Fisherman to His Village

Berhampur/Bhubaneswar: Odisha-Mo Parivar, the social service wing of Biju Janata Dal, has extended helping hands to bring back body of a deceased fisherman to his village in Gopalpur area in Ganjam district.

With the support of Odisha-Mo Parivar and OSD to CM Dr. Gopabandhu Dash, the family members got the mortal remains of Bunga Ramaiah, who passed away in Kerala in a tragic boat mishap.

Ramaiah, a 27-year-old resident of Gopalpur area of Ganjam district, was working as a fisherman in Kerala. When he went fishing in a boat, unfortunately, the boat was capsized and Ramaiah died on the spot.

The family members somehow managed to get Ramaiah’s body from Kerala to Bhubaneswar by air. As they were under financial pressure, they requested Odisha Mo-Parivar to help them to bring body of Ramaiah back to their village in Ganjam.

After receiving the information about the incident, Odisha Mo-Parivar took immediate action and arranged an ambulance for the family to take the body of Ramaiah to their village.

OSD to CM Dr. Gopabandhu Dash, Health Advisor Dr. Satyajit Das (Odisha-Mo Parivar) and members of Odisha-Mo Parivar were present and consoled the bereaved family.
