Bhubaneswar: A three-member team of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has visited Fani-affected areas in Odisha to oversee the restoration works.
The NDMA team, which reached here on Monday night on a three-day visit, had left for the Fani-ravaged areas in Khurda district on Tuesday morning.
The team led by Kamal Kishore had held meeting with the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Bishnupada Sethi, senior officials of the Odisha State Disaster Mitigation Authority (OSDMA) and other officials engaged in post-cyclone restoration works, sources said.
The NDMA will also have a meeting with state government officials on post-reconstruction and recovery works.
The team will be visiting the cyclone-hit areas in Puri district on Wednesday, sources said.
