Bhubaneswar: The re-polling will be held in 45 booths on February 23, ordered the State Election Commission on Saturday.
The SEC order comes in the wake of disruption in these booths, such as violence, errors in ballot paper folding and other disturbances during the first and second phases of the Panchayat election.
The State Election Commissioner Aditya Prasad Padhi said that polling at as many as 25 booths was affected during the first phase of the Panchayat election held on February 16.
As many as 20 booths were rescheduled for re-polling as free and fair voting was affected in them, according to the SEC.
The polling will begin at 9 AM and will continue till 3 PM, it added.
