Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) today declared the results of the +2 Arts, Commerce and Vocational stream examinations.
While four colleges achieved 100 percent pass rate in Arts, 25 colleges achieved the same feat in Commerce. Two colleges registered zero results in Arts and four colleges in Commerce.
As many as 2, 31,150 students had appeared the annual Arts exams, of which 1,92,323 successfully passed. The total pass percentage is 65.89 %. While 18,773 students secured first division, 22,944 students got second division.
Once again girls have outshined the boys registering 73.99 pass percentage compared to 55.80 percent of boys.
Balasore district achieved the highest pass rate of 75.67 % and Nabarangpur recorded the lowest pass rate at 47.46% in Arts. In Commerce, the total pass percentage is 70.26 % with boys at 67.91 percent and girls at 74.52 percent passing the exam.
As many as 5,629 students got first division, 3746 students second division and 9422 students secured third division. Khordha district has recorded the highest pass rate of 89 % and Deogarh registered the least pass rate with 24.34 % in the commerce stream.
Similarly, the pass percentage in vocational courses stood at 52.62%.
Balasore achieved the highest pass rate of 74.34 % and Nabarangpur District recorded the lowest pass rate at 8.33% in the vocational courses.
