Bhubaneswar: Odisha has achieved an impressive 49 per cent growth in GST collection during the month of October 2021 as compared the same period in the previous year, showing that the State’s economy is on the path of revival despite COVID-19 pandemic.
The total GST collection for the month of October was Rs 3,593 crore against Rs 2,419 crore in October 2020, according to the data released by the Union Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
Odisha had recorded a growth of 48 per cent in GST collection in September 2021, in comparison to the corresponding month last year.
The State records a GST collection of Rs 3,325.94 crore in September this year as against Rs 2,383.99 crore collected in September last year.
