Cuttack: The prices of dairy products are likely to be hiked from May 1 as the Cuttack district Dairy Product Traders’ Association has informed about the decision to increase the prices of all dairy products.
The prices of chhena, curd and raw paneer along with other milk products are likely to be increased from next month.
While the price of chhena is Rs 175 per kg, it will increase by Rs 20 to Rs 195 from next month. The price of paneer will be increased from Rs 225 to Rs 255 per kg, and the price of khooa will be from Rs 260 to Rs 320.
The prices of dairy products will increase in various places including Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul and Sambalpur.
The Association said that the hike in milk price is the reason behind the hike in prices of dairy products.
