Odisha Receives 151% More Than Normal Rainfall in Last 24 Hrs 

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has received 151% more than the normal rainfall in the last 24 hours, informed the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar on Friday.

Under the influence of active monsoon and low pressure, Odisha has recorded an average rainfall of 32.1 mm in the last 24 hours, which is 151% more than the normal rainfall of 12.8 mm, the Metrological Centre said.

The highest daily rainfall was recorded in Keonjhar district at 56.9 mm, it added.

Meanwhile, the IMD predicted that another cyclonic circulation is likely to occur around August 25. The intensity of rain will increase in Odisha after August 23.
