Bhubaneswar: Odisha has received 524 per cent more than the normal rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Monsoon has been very active in the state and an average rainfall of 47.5 mm has been recorded in the last 24 hours, which is 524 percent more than the normal rainfall of 7.6 mm, according to the IMD’s Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Rayagada district recorded an average of 72.1 mm which is 1576% more than the normal rainfall of 4.3 mm, the Metrological Centre said.
Seasonal cumulative rainfall, realized from 1st June to 14th September 2023 is 975.2 mm against its normal value of 1044.9 mm, it added.
