Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 3788 dengue cases so far in the State with maximum number of cases being detected in Khordha district, informed a top health official.
As many as 3788 cases were detected from 27, 759 samples. Khordha district reported 2138 dengue cases, said Public Health Director Dr. Niranjan Mishra.
359 cases have been found in Koraput, 321 cases in Raygada and 232 cases in Malkangiri.
In 2021, 3895 dengue cases were detected while 15 thousand 838 samples were tested.
The Public Health Director said that while the positive rate has decreased compared to last year, the daily infections have also decreased.
