Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday nabbed a revenue inspector along with a private person for allegedly taking bribe in Balangir district.
Reshma Majhi, in-charge RI under Belgaon RI Circle, Saintala, Bolangir and private person identified as Babulal Nanda have been apprehended by the Vigilance officials while taking bribe of Rs.10,000 from a person to help in a mutation case for issuance of ROR.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance PS Case No. 10/2024 U/s 7/12 P. C. Act, 1988 as amended by P.C. Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered and the investigation is in progress, the Vigilance said.
