Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government announced that the Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) will remain open during the Durga Puja holidays for allotment of registration numbers of vehicles purchased during the festival.
The State Transport Authority (STA) has directed registration section of all RTOs to remain open for two days (Oct 5 and 7) from 3pm to 5pm during Durga Puja holidays.
“All RTOs are instructed to check the dealer premises and ensure that no vehicle is delivered without registration. In case the dealer is delivering the vehicles without registration, then steps shall be taken for cancellation or suspension of the trade license of the dealer,” the STA said in a notification.
However, LL and DL will not be issued at the RTOs during the Durga Puja holidays from October 5 to 8, it added.
