Bhubaneswar: The schools in Odisha are likely to reopen for Class 1 to 7 students in phases after Diwali.
This has been informed by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Sunday.
The Minister said that it is under discussion regarding the reopening of schools for classes I to VII as the possibility of COVID-19 third wave is minimal.
A decision in this regard will be taken following the order of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, he added.
Earlier, the classroom teaching for the class 8 students had resumed across the State from October 25.
