Bhubaneswar: IAS officer Siddhartha Das on Thursday assumed office as the Director of Sports under the Department of Sports & Youth Services in Odisha.
After taking the responsibility, Das met Sports and Youth Services Minister Tusharkanti Behera and discussed various issues regarding the development of sports sector in the State.
He has also visited various facilities and High Performance Centres located at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. He held discussion on the different activities and programmes with sportspersons and officials, as per reports.
