Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha has constituted a committee that would look in the demands of the Members to hike their salaries. The Committee will be headed by Amar Prasad Satapathy and representatives from the Congress and BJP will also be members. The Committee will give a report to the Speaker in this regard.
Earlier on Saturday, members of the State Assembly cutting across party lines, had demanded salary hike to meet their rising expenses. They also demanded revision in their pension.
