Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force of the Odisha Police Crime Branch conducted raid with the help of Forest Department Officials of Bolangir Forest Division and apprehended a wildlife smuggler and rescued a live pangolin. On getting credible information about the smuggling and possession of wildlife products by wildlife criminals, a raid was conducted and as a result a wildlife criminal was apprehended with one Live Pangolin. Also many incriminating materials were recovered from his possession. The raid was conducted near Bidighat Chhaka under Deogaon police station in Bolangir district. The accused has been identified as Sebak Dharua, a native of Kalijharan village in Bolangir. The pangolin has been handed over to the DFO, Bolangir for safe custody.
