Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Wednesday promoted three senior IPS officers to the rank of DG of police.
The IPS officers who got the promotion are Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi, Arun Kumar Sarangi and Yogesh Bahadur Khurania.
An official notification has been issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi and Arun Kumar Sarangi are promoted to the grade of DG of police in IPS in Level-16 of Pay Matrix and are posted in-situ until further orders.
Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, who is on Central Deputation, is allowed proforma promotion to the grade of DG of police in IPS in Level-16 of Pay Matrix, the notification stated.
