Berhampur: Urban agenda setting for upcoming year for driving key initiatives of the Odisha Government was laid out at the Cluster Review Meeting held here on Wednesday.
The key initiatives include JAGA Mission, Drink From Tap,MUKTA, SWM, FSM, GARIMA, Water Body Rejuvenation, Roads & Kalyan Mandap Construction and Ward Office Transformation.
As many as 27 ULBs of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal and Boudh attended the meeting.
Addressing the participants, G. Mathi Vathanan, Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Department, shared the vision of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for creating liveable, inclusive and sustainable cities under the 5T Governance.
Mathi Vathanan urged Team Urban to transform urban governance to improve the Liveabilty index of our cities.
Senior officers of the H&UD Department presented their action plans and targets to be accomplished by December 2023.
DMA, Collector Ganjam, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretary, EIC-OWSSB, participants from the ULBs of the 5 Districts including Commissioner & EOs participated in the meeting.
