Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department has arrested Begunia Tehsildar Prithviraj Mandal. The Begunia Tahasildar-cum-Sub-Registrar was earlier this week apprehended by the Vigilance officials while accepting Rs 45,000 as bribe for issuance of land conversion patta. The bribe money was recovered from the Tahasildar. The vigilance teams also raided the Tahsildar’s residence in Bhubaneswar, his office in Begunia and his father’s residence in Tumudibandha.
