Bhawanipatna: Odisha Vigilance sleuths have unearthed assets worth over crores from the possession of Kishore Chandra Sahu, Asst. Engineer, General Public Health (GPH) Section, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district.
Based on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sahu, simultaneous searches are being conducted by the Vigilance at different places in Kalahandi district.
During the searches on the properties linked to Sahu, the Vigilance sleuths have unearthed one triple storeyed building of 10,500 sq ft area with apprx valuation Rs 1.10 crores, two plots, bank and insurance deposits over Rs.1.03 crore, cash Rs.2.65 Lakhs, gold approx 235 gms along with other assets.
Searches are still underway, the Vigilance informed.
