Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ace swimmer Mannata Mishra has shined at the KNZ Provincial Championships being held in South Africa.
Mannata has broken the national record in 100 mtr breaststroke event at the Championships.
She is the first and youngest Indian to achieve the feat.
The Swimming Federation of India has congratulated Mannata and other swimmers of the country for their stellar performance at the KNZ Provincial Championships.

Recently , Mishra has scripted a history at the 77th Senior National Aquatic Championships 2024 held at the International Aquatic Complex in Mangaluru.
Mannata became the first youngest swimmer from Odisha to win a medal at the championships. She clinched the Silver medal in 100m breaststroke event finishing with a time of 1:14.66.
In August this year, Mannata brought laurels for the State by winning Gold medal at the 59 National Junior Aquatic Championships held at the Kalinga Stadium Aquatic Centre in Bhubaneswar.
