Odisha’s Chittaranjan Tripathy to Be New Director of National School of Drama

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s born versatile actor Chittaranjan Tripathy has been appointed as the director of National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi.

Tripathy, a native of Chandbali of Bhadrak district, has become the first Odia to hold the prestigious position.

Tripathy has acted and directed several Bollywood and Ollywood movies. He is best known for his roles in the Netflix series Sacred Games and MX Player series Raktanchal. His movie Dhauli Express had three Odisha State Film Awards.

Tripathy had obtained a Diploma in Acting at the National School of Drama. He’s the batchmate of famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
