Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government’s decision for deferment of salaries of IAS and IPS officers of the state has been welcomed and supported by the IAS association of Odisha and the IPS association of Odisha.
The Indian Administrative Service association Odisha has said that it supports the 50 percent deferment of the gross salary of the IAS officers in the state by the government in order to face the exigencies that may come up in the wake of the pandemic Covid-19. It has also reiterated that its members will stand firmly with the people of Odisha in this time of crisis.
On the other hand, the Odisha branch of the IPS association has also reiterated its commitment has supported the government’s decision to defer 50 percent of the salaries.
