Bhubaneswar: The orientation programme of newly-appointed school teachers will be at Kalinga Stadium here on August 1, informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Friday.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is expected to attend the programme and address the newly-recruited teachers.
As many as 6891 teachers will be appointed on August 1. The Chief Minister will give appointment letters to the teachers at the programme.
According to the Mass Education Minister, the recruitment process of 11,800 teachers is going on.
