Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar is gearing up to host the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup 2023. The capital city is undergoing a makeover for the mega sporting event.
Bhubaneswar will be all colourful this winter, thanks to the Street Art & Murals Project (STAMP), a Public Art initiative of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The civic body has appealed to the people to be part of the initiative and decide what they want to see on the walls of the city.
“Come!!! Be part of this unique city-wide “PUBLIC ART” initiative – Street Art & Murals Project (STAMP). Let us know your views, ideas on the public art slated to make BBSR”, the BMC tweeted.
Under the initiative, walls across major streets of Bhubaneswar will be painted ahead of the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup 2023. It includes theme-based paintings in many stretches.
The BMC has decided to organize
the STAMP in a more holistic way by involving various art colleges in the city and state, as per reports.
