Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department officials are carrying out searches at nine places in connection with the Disproportionate Assets case of Prasanna Kumar Pani, JE (Technical Consultant), Samagra Sikhya Abhijana, Pallahara, Angul. According to information from the Department, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Prasanna Kumar Pani, JE (Technical Consultant), Samagra Sikhya Abhijana, Office of the BEO, Pallahara, Angul, simultaneous house searches are being conducted at nine places in Khurdha, Angul and Puri districts. Six DSPs, six Inspectors and other staff are conducting searches on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. According to sources, the Vigilance authorities have uncovered about fifty bank accounts, huge quantity of jewelery and documents related to land and apartment.
