Bhubaneswar: 5T Chairman and BJD leader VK Pandian will not contest the ensuing 2024 elections.
This has been informed by BJD senior Vice President Debi Mishra.
Addressing a press conference after the BJD’s Extended State Executive Committee Meeting held at Sankha Bhawan, Mishra said that 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian will not contest the upcoming 2024 elections.
“Pandian has clarified that he will serve the state as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. He said he will not contest the assembly elections. Though there is no bar on him contesting the elections,” Mishra said.
