Bhubaneswar: While the temperature in cities across Odisha recording more than normal for the last few days, Paralakhemundi yesterday recorded the highest temperature in the state this season. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Paralakhemundi reported 38.2 degrees Celsius. Likewise, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, and Boudh recorded temperatures more than 36 degrees Celsius. In the next few days, the temperature in Odisha is likely to rise further. On the other hand the IMD has said, due to the cyclonic circulation prevailing over interior Odisha and neighbourhood, some districts are likely to get light rains in the next four days.
