New Delhi: A parliamentary panel has lauded the Odisha Government’s Mo Sarkar initiative and urged the other States to develop similar programs for better governance.
In its recent report, the Parliamentary Committee on Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has praised the Mo Sarkar initiative, which aims to ensure transparency in governance based on feedback of the common people.
The Parliamentary Panel has recommended other States to develop a similar feedback mechanism to bring the government services, especially the police service closer to the people.
The Mo Sarkar, an innovative governance initiative launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has caught the imagination of all including policy makers and the general public.
