Balangir: Keeping in view the merits of Ayurvedic Kadha, patients recuperating from Covid-19 at the dedicated Covid Hospitals and Covid Care Centers in Balangir are being served hot Kadha. The administration has decided to replace the evening tea with this Kadha. The district Red Cross Society is serving the hot Kadha to the patients everyday which is appreciated by all including the patients and their family members.
The Union Ministry of Ayush has recommended that people should take Kadha made of herbs and spices to increase their immunity. Kadha is an Ayurvedic drink made using herbs and spices which are boiled in water so that all the medicinal benefits extracted into the water.
