Bhubaneswar: The Annual Plus Two examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education will begin from today. The examinations will start with the Science stream from today. The Arts and Commerce stream examinations will begin from tomorrow. More than 3.5 lakh students are appearing for the Annual Examinations this year. The examinations will continue till 20th March.
A day before the examinations, the Council of Higher Secondary Education issued an advisory for the students. The students will have to reach the examination centre half an hour in advance and enter the hall 15 minutes in advance and get the answer sheet 10 minutes in advance. The question paper will be available 5 minutes in advance. The Council of Higher Secondary Education has advised the students to immediately inform if there are any errors in page number or printing in the question paper.
The roll number and the registration number needs to be correctly written on the answer sheet. Write the set code of the question paper accurately. Students are prohibited to carry items other than black ballpoint pens and admit cards to the examination hall.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education has taken various steps to conduct the examination smoothly. A three-tier squad arrangement has been made to prevent copying. CCTV cameras have also been installed at all the examination centers. This year, the CHSE has put up 1,158 examination centers and seven sub-centers. Principals of the Plus two colleges will be in charge of the supervision of the examination centers.
