Sambalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Sambalpur on the 24th of this month to inaugurate the permanent campus of Indian Institute of management Sambalpur. The permanent campus of IIM-Sambalpur is situated at Basantpur, on the outskirts of Sambalpur. IIM Sambalpur Director Mahadeo Jaiswal has told media that the Institute has received an intimation regard this from the PMO. But he said the conformation will be done only after they receive the official letter. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Mohan Majhi has told media persons that the PM will visit Western Odisha by December-end. According to sources, the PM is also likely to address a public meeting during his visit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone of the permanent Campus of IIM-Sambalpur in 2021. The new Campus has been built over an area of 200 acres with an expenditure of more than Rs 400 crore.
