New Delhi: Health condition of former president Pranab Mukherjee has deteriorated further and he is in septic shock, said the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital on Monday.
The former President continues to be in deep coma and on ventilator support, a medical bulletin issued by the hospital said.
“There is a decline in the medical condition of former president Pranab Mukherjee since yesterday. He is in septic shock due to his lung infection and is being managed by a team of specialists. He continues to be in deep coma and on ventilator support,” the R&R Hospital said.
Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the hospital on August 10.
