Bhubaneswar: A preparatory meeting was held on Wednesday in view of the visit programme of President Droupadi Murmu to Odisha.
President Murmu is scheduled to visit her home State from November 20 to 22 and again on November 26 to 27.
The President will attend several programmes in Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts from November 20 to 22 in her first phase visit.
Murmu will again come to the State on November 26 and attend the Boita Bandan programme at Paradip on November 27.
The preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena to hold discussions regarding her arrival, see off and security arrangements during the President’s visit.
Development Commissioner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Deoranjan Kumar Singh, DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal and other senior officers attended the meeting.
The Collectors and SPs of concerned Districts participated the meeting through virtual mode.
