Bhubaneswar: A day after post mortem report of K Ramesh, indicated multiple injury in his body, allegedly died in police custody, the Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) of Baselisahi police station Jibanananda Jena has been transferred and posted to District Police Headquarters, Puri.
Earlier in November, former Puri SP Akhileswar Singh was also transferred in this case.
The alleged custodial death had occurred on November 19.
While Balanga IIC Sanjeeb Pradhan has been transferred to Baselisahi Police Station, Kumbharpada Sub-Inspector Samarendra Paikray has been transferred and posted as OIC at Balanga Police Station.
Similarly, Kumbharpada IIC Kulamani Sethi has been transferred and posted as IIC at Baliapanda Police Station.
Baliapanda IIC Chinmaya Rout has been transferred and posted as IIC at Seabeach Police Station, a notification stated.
Similarly, the Seabeach IIC Bichitrananda Sethy has been transferred and posted as IIC at Kumbharpada Police Station.
