Bhubaneswar: The service of Puri-Habibganj-Puri special train has been extended till September 25.
A decision in this regard has been taken by the Ministry of Railways keeping in view of heavy rush of passengers.
In view of heavy rush of passengers, the Ministry of Railways decided to extend the service of Puri-Habibganj-Puri special train till September 25.
The Puri-Habibganj special weekly train (01662) departs Puri on every Wednesday at 15:00hrs and reaches at Habibganj at 15:25hrs on every Thursday, while the Habibganj-Puri special train (01661) departs Habibganj in Bhopal on every Tuesday at 07:20hrs and arrives at Puri Railway Station at 10:00hrs on every Wednesday.
The train is running on diverted route via Vidisha, Bina, Sagour, Damoh and Katni Murwara from both the directions up to August 28 due to safety-related modernisation work at Jabalpur.
The train will run on its original path via Hosangabad, Itarshi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur and Katni South from both the directions from September 3, Railway officials said.
