Puri: In a bid to attend to medical exigencies of visitors, devotees and sevaks, the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA) has decided to setup a First Aid Centre in an air-conditioned container, near Srimandir.
This has been informed by Dr Krishan Kumar, Chief Administrator, SJTA.
The Centre will be manned by adequate medical staff and will be stocked with sufficient medical supplies with the help of District Headquarter Hospital.
However, the emergency cases will be referred to District Hospital.
The First Aid Centre will be inaugurated on 14th April, on the auspicious day of Mahabishuva Sankranti, the SJTA said.
