Patna/New Delhi: While Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is visiting Delhi to hold talks with opposition leaders, former Union Minister and JD-U leader R.C.P. Singh on Tuesday demanded he bring a ‘White Paper’ on his “Janata Darbars”.
“People of Bihar need to know the expenses of Janata Darbar and its benefits from Nitish Kumar. He has been conducting Janata Darbars for many years. He should give details about the results. Nitish Kumar should also bring a White Paper on it,” he said.
“The farmers of Bihar are facing problems due to a drought-like situation and he is visiting Delhi for opposition unity. Recently, KCR came to Patna… only stand-up and sit-down was taking place in Bihar,” he said citing an incident during a press conference in Patna when the Telangana Chief Minister came.
At the press meet, when KCR, as the Telanagana Chief Minister is known, was asked whether Nitish Kumar could be the PM candidate of the opposition parties, Nitish Kumar stood up from the chair and KCR held his hand and requested him to sit a bit.
BJP OBC Morcha national General Secretary Nikhil Anand claimed: “Only 5 to 10 per cent problems would be solved in the Janata Darbars of Nitish Kumar. The reality of Janata Darbar is to fool people in Bihar. Since 2010, the terror of red tapism has increased in Bihar where bureaucrats are not even listening to the Chief Minister, and they do not care about the ministers and legislators.”
Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar flared up to a question about the points raised by R.C.P. Singh after his meeting with CPI leader D. Raja.
Attacking R.C.P. Singh, he said: “Who brought him into politics. He was just an IAS officer. I made him my personal secretary, gave him my own post of national President of the party but he went into the hands of BJP. You (people) know what was the status of our party then. He weakened my party. There is no meaning to what he is saying.”
