Rains Likely To Bring Respite From Scorching Heat In State

Bhubaneswar: Rains and thundershowers in many places of Odisha are likely to bring respite from the scorching heat. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for today for 12 districts and said that thunderstorm with lightening very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Kalahahdi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar. The prevailing heat wave conditions are likely to subside from the 20th of this month. In the next five days, many districts of Odisha are likely to get thundershowers due to the Norwester rains and the temperatures are likely to decline considerably.
