Puri: The much-awaited Deva Snana Purnima festival of Lord Jagannath will be held on June 24, marking the beginning of the annual Rath Yatra of the holy Trinity.
Discussions are being held with various stake holders regarding the SOP for the Snana Purnima ritual this year, informed Puri Collector Samarth Verma.
The final decision will be taken in a temple meeting to be held soon in presence of SJTA chief administrator Dr. Krishan Kumar where all stake holders will be in attendance, he added.
Notably, Deva Snana Purnima ritual was conducted with a minimum number of servitors and strict adherence to social distancing norms last year due to COVID-19 pandemic.
No devotees and outsiders were allowed to enter the temple as per the government regulation.
