Bhubaneswar: Bijay Kumar Parida, Divisional Forest Officer(DFO), Rayagada Peripheral in Rayagada district has come under the scanner of Odisha Vigilance for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
Led by 8 DSPs, 6 Inspectors and other staff, the Vigilance sleuths are conducting simultaneous house searches at seven places in Rayagada, Khurdha, Cuttack and Jajpur districts linked with the DFO.
The Vigilance officers raided the residential govt. quarter of Parida located at Gandhi Nagar Area near Kali Puja Padia, Rayagada; office located at Raniguda farm, Rayagada; Flat vide No.-304, 3rd floor, Block-A, Ashirbad Plaza, Kalarhanga, Patia, Bhubaneswar; G+2 storyed under construction building located over Srikoruan Mouza, Urali PO in Cuttack Sadar; house of DFO’s relative at Srikoruan village, PO- Urali, PS- Sadar, Cuttack; rented residential house of another relative located at Shisu Vihar, Patia, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar and house at native village at Damodarpur village under Kalinga Nagar PS in Jajpur district.
Raids are being carried out on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge,Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
