Chatrapur: Principal Secretary of Rural Development (RD) Department Sanjay Kumar Singh today reviewed the progress of various development programmes in Ganjam district.
During his visit to the district, Singh held discussions with the officials regarding the implementation of the development programmes in Ganjam.
The Principal Secretary visited Maa Taratarini Temple, the presiding deity of Ganjam district, to review the construction of the sidewalls at the hilltop shrine.
The sidewalls are being constructed for the protection of the renovated Maa Taratarini Temple.
Singh also reviewed the progress of the new bridge under construction on the Rushikulya River connecting Purusottampur to Taratarini Temple square. He ordered the officials to complete the work by February 2023.
