Chatrapur: Knowledge sharing and cope with technology is the call of the day. You have to reinvent yourself in a changing world, advised Dr. Gopabandhu Dash, OSD to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, while addressing the students of Ganjam College on its 54th Foundation Day, which was celebrated on Sunday.
Attending the programme as Chief Guest, Dr. Dash has advised the students to develop critical thinking and innovative skills for the betterment of the society.
Dr. Dash has also urged the students to make better use of modern technology to enhance their learning skills.
The programme was organized under the presidentship of Chatrapur Sub-Collector and Ganjam College Governing Body President Prasanna Kumar Patra.
Dr. Sudhakar Patra, Professor of Economics & IQAC Head, Berhampur University attended the programme as guest of honour.
Ganjam College Principal Dr. Prabin Kumar Nanda presented the annual report of the college and highlighted various achievements as well as problems of the college.
Convener of Foundation Day Ceremony Prof. Amar Prasad Bishoyee gave guest introduction & Prof L N Panda coordinated the program. Dr. Smarnika Hota read out Vice Chancellor’s message.
Prizes were distributed to meritorious students of the college for their achievement in various curricular and co-curricular activities.
Dr. Pitambar Behera gave vote of thanks at the end.
Among others, college staff Dr. Purusottam Sahu, Dr. Durga Prasad Dash, Narottam Manna,Nigam Swain, Mahendra Sethy, Girish Chandra Acharjya,Aditya Mahapatra, Abinash Pati, Raghunath Reddy, Himanshu Nahak, Prabir Padhy, Susanta Achary and other members were present in this programme.
The students of different streams and Alumni members attended this programme.
