Bhubaneswar: The five Odisha workers who were rescued from the collapsed Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi yesterday are likely to be brought to Odisha tomorrow. The five Odia workers were rescued yesterday along with other workers after 17 days of ordeal. The five Odia workers include Dhiren Nayak, Bisweswar Nayak and Raju Nayak of Mayurbhanj district, Bhagwan Bhatra of Umerkote in Nabarangpur and Tapan Mandal of Bhadrak district. A team led by Labour Minister Sarada Nayak and other senior officials are camping in Uttarkasi to oversee their return. Some family members of the workers were also taken to the tunnel site by the government. They are likely to return to Odisha tomorrow. They are currently under medical observation, and once the doctors declare them fit, they will be brought to Odisha.
